It’s been a while, blog friends, but you’ve not been forgotten.
After a brief break from wandering, I came up with this summer’s plan: hiking.
I’ve always wanted to try it but up until recently, I wasn’t exactly an outdoors type of girl. But alas, I’m enjoying it these days and recently worked up the courage to try it for the first time.
Cliffs of the Neuse is *amazing.* The state park has multiple trails, all of which are just long enough to be enjoyable.
It’s perfect for a person’s first hiking experience, in my opinion, and great for a daytrip with a couple of girlfriends.
